Why Pakistan

Pakistan: A Global Rice Powerhouse

Pakistan is consistently among the world's top five rice exporters, generating over $4.4 billion in annual rice export revenues. The country's Punjab and Sindh provinces produce exceptional Basmati rice — known for its extra-long grain, strong aroma, and premium market positioning globally.

The rice-growing clusters of Narowal, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, and Hafizabad are home to hundreds of established processing facilities with decades of export experience. Pakistan's rice reaches 50+ countries spanning the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

What is the minimum order quantity?
Typical minimum is 1 × 20ft container (~24–25 MT). For certain varieties we can arrange smaller trial orders of 1–5 MT to allow you to test quality before committing. Container sizes: 20ft (24–25 MT), 40ft (48–50 MT).
Can you arrange samples before we place an order?
Yes. We can arrange representative samples (typically 500g–1kg per variety) shipped via courier. Courier costs are usually borne by the buyer; sample rice itself may be provided free or at nominal cost depending on the mill.
What certifications are available?
Phytosanitary certificate (from Department of Plant Protection), fumigation certificate, Certificate of Origin (from TDAP or Chamber of Commerce), Halal certificate on request, and third-party inspection (SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas) can be arranged.
What are the typical lead times?
In-season stock (Oct–Feb): 2–4 weeks from order confirmation to loading. Off-season or custom-processed (parboiled, color-sorted, repackaged): 4–8 weeks. We communicate realistic timelines upfront.
